where is my save stored?

The game code shows browser-side save keys, but that does not mean this site and the original site share cloud progress. Here is what can be observed, alongside the limits that still matter.

What we can observe

The source uses the browser's localStorage for game data. The observed keys include taipei-rush-save-v1 and taipei-rush-ui. This normally keeps data in the browser environment you are using. It does not guarantee that the embedded iframe and the original site share a cloud save, and Taipei Rush cannot manage that data. Source: original game page.

What changes between environments?

Same browserIn ordinary conditions, the same origin can read the data it previously stored.

Private browsingData may be cleared when the window closes, and browser privacy rules also affect third-party content.

Another device or browserThe embedded page and the original site are not guaranteed to share progress. Treat it as local browser storage, not a cross-device cloud save.

Safer habit

Finish at a stable game state before leaving. Do not treat the save as a backup before clearing site data. This independent guide site has no account system and cannot recover the original game's save.
